Organ transplant is a surgical procedure to provide a functioning human organ to a patient whose vital organ has stopped functioning or is close to failure. It can either be donated by a living person or someone who has recently passed away. In most cases close relatives are often the donors to ensure compatibility. AirMed team feels fortunate to be able to play a role in saving lives through this meaningful process.

The time sensitivity of every case is handled by AirMed’s team with significant preplanning, whereby facilitating quick and rapid decisions. We understand that the smallest details can delay the fight and to combat that - our robust plan covers all set of possibilities. Our medical crew plans the air ambulance flight according to the individual needs of transplant patients based on their condition and transplant type.

We have a fleet of company owned medically configured aircrafts and ground ambulances on standby; along with bases across the country.Our air and ground transport vehicles provide comfortable and safe environment for organ transport. We understand the logistic complexities of organ transport and do our best to facilitate organ procurement teams dispatched to recover organs for carrying out transplants. From flying at lower altitudes to ensuring the availability of portable oxygen concentrators, our flight crew takes extra measures to make the flight as comfortable as possible for the patient and organ procurement teams. Our aircrafts can be ready for organ transports within an hour when a request is generated
